Here is the schedule of Zampacon '15 - Fur Ro Dah!




The convention will open at 13.00 (1.00 PM). If you arrive earlier we won't be able to assign you your room or sign you up at the reception.

Please DO NOT ARRIVE IN ADVANCE to not generate confusion and misunderstandings, thank you!


Do you want to take part in an activity during Zampacon?

If you'd like to do so you must fill and submit this short form before 11:59PM (GMT+1) of the 31st of July 2015.

NOTE: the form is considered as a final sign up. We do not guarantee that you will be able to take part in any activity if you didn't submit a form! For activities with limited number of spots, priority it will be given on a "first come first served" basis.

If you change your mind about your participation to the activities, you can simply submit the form again! The latest version that you submitted will be considered to be the correct one.

Here is a brief recap regarding the activities which will take place during Zampacon.


- Zampacon Mystic Quest

Here is the novelty of this year! Part treasure hunt, part skill competition, everything strictly in tune with the convention's theme!

Brave adventurers, along with your guild you'll have to discover the secrets hidden around the Morri Oceania Castle, collecting clues while exploring magical towers and ancient temples, solving the puzzles of ROGUE, helping the CLERIC in search of the sacred relics hidden in the dungeon of the castle , obtaining the favour of the different characters that you will meet, discovering intrigues of the palace and much more!

Only the most skillful guild will have access to the magical chest containing the treasure for the the Zampacon Mystic Quest victorious participants!


- Drawing challenge

It is a game based on improvisation and drawing, but in order to let everyone take part to it, the judges will appreciate mostly the original idea of ​​the contestant, while skill and technical mastery will go into the background. The game includes a total of 5 rounds, during which the participants will have to base their work on randomly sorted keywords.

There are 3 spots as JUDGES and up to 8 spots as PARTICIPANTS.


- Creative writing challenge

The whole challenge is divided into three rounds, during which challengers will be required to write a short story, linked to the convention theme and, of course, furry-themed. The story must include a prologue (first round), the body of the story (the second round) and an epilogue (third round). Clearly the composition should not be too long. During each round the challengers will chose one out of two randomly picked keywords, on which the story must be based.

There are 3 spots as JUDGES and up to 6 spots as PARTICIPANTS.

- Videogames tournament

Last year we proposed Bloody Roar for GameCube (Primal Fury). This year, patiently searching through the Akashic records, we found a video game created by Shok/2105graphics some years ago. We are talking about MONSTER, a 2D beat 'em up game, starring anthropomorphic animals of various features.

The game will soon be available on Dropbox, from the 15th of July 2015, so that everyone will be able to try it before the tournament, so that we can skip the warmup during the con and have more contestants!

There are 24 spots as PARTICIPANTS.


- Sand Sculpture

Use your imagination in this game with your buddies to build a furry sand sculpture, possibly linked to the theme of the convention! You can use sand, shells or anything that is found along the beach to build your work of art, your castle (it would be perfect considering the con theme!) or your sculpture. An excellent opportunity to stay at the beach and have fun with friends!

We will go to the beach (departing from the hotel) during the morning in which this activity will take place. We will depart from the area in front of the hotel. If you signed up for this, please be present at the meeting point for the time indicated in the schedule!


- Fursuit Fair

From the distant middle ages to the present days, the couty fair it's an event that you can't miss. This year, we'll have such an event at Zampacon, in a most intriguing fashion: the animal's fair! Here you can tame and pose with your favourite beasts! Hurry up to gaze at breath-taking jousts where humans and fursuiters challange each other for your own delight and entertainment! This event is open to everyone, adults and kids, with the aim of allowing the public to interact with the fursuiters, take pictures, have fun and play games.
(please choose yes on the form for the Fursuit Fair only if you will wear a fursuit during this activity)

- Indoor games

This activity has become a true tradition for Zampacon! As for previous editions, you can discover how much you know of the furry world during this game. It's a great opportunity to work as a team with your buddies, have fun and maybe learn something new about everything furry!
