Hello guys! As we had previously anticipated in this thread, starting from today, Monday, March 16th, 2015, the registrations for Zampacon 2015 - Fur Ro Dah are open!

Here's some useful information for anyone who would be interested in joining the event.


►When will the convention take place?

Zampacon '15 will take place from September the 2nd 2015 'till September the 6th 2015 (included)!
The late-summer period will give us the advantage of a warm, but not too muggy weather, low hotel prices and the chance to go to the beach (see the next point) and take a dip together for those interested, just like we did last year.


►Where will the convention take place?

The convention will take place in the sunny and relaxing sea-side town of Bellaria-Igea Marina, in the renowned Riviera Romagnola, just a few miles north from Rimini.
Zampacon '15 will be hosted in the three-star Morri Oceania Hotel, the same place where the last event took place and that everyone enjoyed.

►What will the total cost amount to?

Notice: it has been reported that, when browsing from a mobile device, an error can happen that prevents the user to see the EURO symbol before the prices. Thus we'll clarify that every sum in this thread is expressed in EUROs.

The total cost to attend Zampacon 2015 - Fur Ro Dah amounts to €175 and consists of:

€140 for the overnight stay at the hotel (€35 per person a night for a 4-night stay) with bed and breakfast service.
€35 convention fee.
TOTAL AMOUNT: €175

For everyone who will register within the official sign-up period, March the 16th 2015 - March the 31st 2015, there will be a €20 DISCOUNT to the con fee, that will lower the total price to €155!

NOTE: the town of Bellaria-Igea Marina does not impose any tourist tax at the moment.



►How do I register?

To be allowed to attend the event it is mandatory to be over 18 years of age at the moment of registration, to correctly complete the registration procedure (as described below) and to sign the liability waiver presented upon arriving at the hotel, which text is shown at the bottom of the Terms of Service page, before the payment options.

The registration process will consist in two phases. During the first phase, marked by the opening of this thread (March 16th, 2015 - March 31th, 2015), you will have to fill a web form and the send the deposit fee, which amounts to €50. This amount can be sent either by bank transfer (can be done via web too) or Paypal, using the provided Paypal button. During the second phase (May 15th, 2015 - May 31th, 2015) it will be required for you to send the balance fee, which amounts to €105, using the same methods of payment employed with the deposit fee and fill in a second web form.

NOTE: When paying with the Paypal button Zampacon will cover the transaction fees that each year cost us a few hundreds of euros. If you wish to support Zampacon and you have a chance to do so, you can pay with a bank transfer (available online too), which is often free of charge! Thanks for your help. :)


You must fill out a simple web form, before sending the deposit fee, which will contain the following information:

● An email address (NOTICE! You must attach to your payment the SAME email address that you used for the form.)
● Name (real one)
● Surname (real one)
● Date of birth
● Place of birth
● Furry nickname
● If you plan to bring a fursuit with you

While it is possible for a single payment to be valid for more than one Guest, the web form has to be filled in by every single Guest individually. Take care to attach their emails to the payment too!
Filling in the web form is MANDATORY.

After completing and submitting the web form you will be shown a link to the Terms of Service page, followed by the payment options. In casa you've accidentally closed that page, you can find the link here as well:

The Terms of Service lay down the rules for the payments and the conditions for a reimbursement, while the payment options will display the Bank Transfer data and the "Pay Now" Paypal button.
In the reason of payment (Bank Transfer) (or in the Email field, if you're using the Paypal button) you will have to type in the one email for each Guest that you're paying for, which needs to be the same that you used for the web form that you have precedently submitted.

Attention: by paying for the deposit fee (50€) you declare that you have read, understood and accepted the Terms of Service that were presented to you in the payment page linked above.

Proceed with the payment of the deposit fee (50€) with the preferred method before 11:59PM (GMT+1) of the 31st of March 2015. A confirmation email will be sent within 2 days (payments are verified manually) to report that everything went fine and your registration is confirmed.

Note: Some banks might not accept the at-sign (@) in the "reason of payment" field, so we also accept if you write (at) or *space*at*space* instead of it. (i.e. [email protected] or john(at)mail.com or john at mail.com)

A quick recap...

1 - Fill in the web form with the required data. CLICK ON THIS LINK IMPORTANT: the email that you're using in this web form MUST be the SAME that you will subsequently attach to the payment!

2 - Take notice of the Terms of Service and the Bank Transfer data (or the Paypal Button). CLICK ON THIS LINK

3 - Proceed with the payment of the deposit fee(50€) with your preferred method before 11:59PM of the 31st of March 2015, reminding to attach the emails of the users for which the payment is valid, which have to be the same that were used in the web form.

4 - If everything went fine you'll receive a confirmation email on the address that you have used on both the web from and the payment. The confirmation email can take a few hours to a couple days to be received as payments are validated manually.

►Is there a maximum number of Guests?

There will be no maximum number of Guests (except for the hotel limit which is 300 beds, but it's hardly reachable), although if you wish to join after the registrations are closed there will be no discount available and we won't be able to grant the availability of gadgets, badge, conbook, participation to games and challenges or the chance to choose your roommate. Furthermore you will have to contact the staff before registering to let us check the availability of rooms in the hotel.
